Seriously Siri!

Siri lives in my phone. I wish she didn't. But she does. I try my hardest to ignore her and leave her alone. But every once in a while I hit the wrong button and she interrupts my day. And then I get flustered and have the darnedest time getting her to go away! (Do I sound like an old crotchety person yet?)

The reason Siri and I don't get along is she never understands me! I ask her a question or tell her to do something and she repeatedly fails to accomplish the requested task. It is frustrating. So I try to NOT waste my time on Siri and just do it myself. Apparently I know my phone better than Siri.

So the other night when Hannah toddled off with my phone and started chatting with Siri I was shocked to see that Hannah got an actual, intelligent answer!

Seriously Siri! The girl doesn't even TALK! Really, truly her vocabulary consists of ONE word from the entire English language. "Mama". And yet you manage to understand her?!? I don't get it. How? Why? Are you just trying to taunt me? Because if so it's working!

  1. You should google the voice behind Siri. I watched a video of the lady who is Siri...I thought they changed a ladies voice, but it is the actual lady. After putting a face with the voice I don't get as annoyed with it.

    1. What?!? There is a real Siri? I don't know if I want to see her...I like the anonymity:)

Although after seeing these pictures of Hannah I am thinking I should stop trying to fit her in the 9 month onesies...those aren't supposed to be 3/4 sleeves!

    2. You really should check her out. She looks like she would be friends with mom.

I actually thought to myself ... I didn't know they made 3/4 length sleeves for little ones! I thought it was brilliant since I love them so much!

  2. That is hilarious! I changed Siri to a man's voice with the iOS7 update. Oddly, he still calls himself Siri but he is WAY less surly when he misunderstands me and acts like he didn't hear me.

    1. A male Siri?!? Hmmm. And less surly. That right there might have convinced me to update my phone.
